Bir,
1. L. No.2070
-
Referring to previous correspondence, and to sur interview with yourself and the Director of Public Works of this morning, we have mended our plans for the above and new return tâm but va mat state that with regard to
- it the reduction in the height of part of the buildings is in our opinion a great detriment to the value of our client's property and may possibly invalidate it for the purpose he had in view, It is clear to us that if the Government proposed to impose this rostriation with regard to the height of the buildings; it should have been made. one of the special conditions of sale, not sprung upon our
ellent after he has prepared the site at a cost of nearly
$5,000 fer this special purpose. In face of the Directer of
Public Works Statement that he will not pass the plans as they stand and that the * dispositiex * of the buildings will not have his * special approval • if the heights are
not altered; we have no alternative but to amend them as he requires, but we must ask you note that we do so without prejudice to his rights of future action.
Te are,
Yours faithfully,
(SD) Denison Ram & Gibbs
